ANNUAL - A plant that lives for one year. Usually has lots of blossoms for prolific seed production.

BIENNIAL- A plant that lives for two years. Usually in rosette stage the first, then bolts to full plant stage the second.

LOT - Segmented areas in Subdivisions, assigned by number or letter.

NOTICE- An official form used to notify property owners of a violation.

NOXIOUS - Means to be harmful or destructive. Is a legal term used to denote a destructive or harmful pest for the purposes of regulation.

NUISANCE - (as related to weed control) Worthless vegetation or weeds other than the eight Noxious weeds.

PERENNIAL- A plant that lives for more than two years. Usually spreads by roots and/or seeds.

SUBDIVISION - A Neighborhood or Commercial tract outside of the City Limits.
